Dear Marie, After perusing records in australia for births, deaths and
marriages I have found that Delilah was born in 1835. She died in 1911
under the name Delilah McKay in australia. Her two husbands were James
Bartrim and Thomas McKay. I know that there were discrepancies in some
of
the dates but I think the consensus is born 1835. As you know the IGI
states
she was born 1835 Cratfield and christened 1837 in Woodbridge so
hopefully
this too is accurate. I thought you may like to update your records.
the
photo I had of Delilah when she was 77 years old has now gone all over
australia to relatives who had never seen her and of course back to her
birthplace. The relatives over here in australia thought that was
lovely
for at least her picture to return to the place of her birth. She was
quite
a character by the look of it but didn't have a very easy life.
